VSPlanet.com was the brainnchild of Jeremy Summers, a young Canadiam student, who recognized the need for an online source to help owners of the new Roland multi track hard disk recorders. He began a BBS called the V-List. As the V-List grew, Jeremy upgraded to new software and the VSPlanet was born.

The VSPlanet has grown to in excess of 5,000 members and has expanded into several forums including general recording discussion. It's services have been improved and involve no third party "free" services which can be "buggy" and slow. Roland has taken notice and has benefited from this site by having an excellent place for them to observe customer feedback. The latest announcements from Roland show that Roland is listening to us by providing what the customers and users of this site have expressed a need for.

Welcome to the VSPlanet! - I hope it helps us all make better music and gives us an even stronger voice for Roland to use to please us (the customers) in the future!

VS-Planet's goal is to provide a one-stop resource for VS-Musicians and Home Recordists to learn and get help with their recording problems. The Roland© V-Studio's open a whole new world to musicians, allowing them to have total control of their projects from start to the finished CD! While this is great it does bring a lot of responsibility and knowledge with it. This site hope's to flatten the learning curve by providing numerous resources for VS-users to collaborate and exchange ideas with other VS-users from around the world!
