Is anyone using the Studio Pack with Cakewalk or Sonar? Are you aware that there is a studioware panel for the VM3100Pro on the Japanese Roland site? I can't find the URL (!) but I'm happy to e-mail it to anyone who wants it. Also, has anyone manged to get the transport buttons on the VM3100pro to control the transport in Cakewalk/Sonar. Can it be done at all?

Yo doooood. You rock!!! I'd love to get the studioware. You can email me at deanesque@worldnet.att.netI haven't been able to get the transport buttons to work either. In fact I still can't figure out what the Cakewalk configuration on the VM3100pro does! IP: Logged |

A Studioware Panel is the way Cakewalk controles MIDI devices. You can have knobs an faders etc. on screen that control MIDI devices like synths and digital mixers.IP: Logged |

Hey wigworld As far as transport controls, you have to bind them in Cakewalk (assign them to midi note numbers). I've got a template (cakewalk pro audio 9) that has the rewind, ff, record and play working so far. Let me know if you want it.see ya Jeff IP: Logged |
