I've searched for a thread with a list of known-good devices, but didn't find it, so I post a new one.
I've bought from Amazon (FR) my PS2 keyboard and mouse, brand is PERIXX. Both wired, and both work.
- keyboard is "Periboard 409" with PS2 plug.
- mouse is "PERIMICE 201 II", optical mouse with PS2 plug and wheel (listed as "PERIMICE 201B P" on Amazon though)
I also used a 50cents roller mouse by ALPS (model FDM-F10) before getting the Perixx stuff. Worked just as well.
My unit is a VS2480DVD from 2009, running 2.5 OS version (still need updating to 2.505).
