My wife's father, Julius, died tonight. He remained an active member of his community until falling ill ten days ago. We were planning on celebrating his ninetieth birthday in a couple weeks. Actually we still plan on celebrating it. He was a very good man. Strong of faith and conviction. He was a teacher and retired as a principal in 1986. He was also a pilot in the RCAF during WW2. Mostly he was a good husband, father and grandfather. In my experience he always knew how to treat people with respect. We will miss him dearly and we will celebrate him in each of our futures. RIP my friend.

My condolences to your wife and your family and friends. What a life he lived, contributing to everyone in his sphere of influence. Would that we all live life with such grace.
