Connect both units via Midi cables. VS-2480 Master, Slaving the VS880 via MTC.
S/PDIF out (or analog) to the VS-2480. If you can drop more than 2 tracks at a time to the VS-2480, then do so. The point here being that MTC will keep both units in perfect sync, so that you can drop all tracks in stereo (2 tracks x 4), and not lose sync.
If you know the BPM of the VS-880 Projects, dial that in to the VS-2480 per Project. Then, you should be able to edit, or add tracks with a sequencer etc....
All in 100% sync!
