Hi Everyone,
Is the VS8F-3 ok to use on the VS-1880, and if so, has anyone used Autotune on it, and if so, how does it work.
I'm debating on whether I should not buy the VS8F-3 and just buy Reaper and use 2 VS-1880's as control surfaces, but I do not know if I should do it. I don't know the advantage or dis- advantage of it.
If this topic has already been bought up then I'm sorry. I did not see it when I was looking.

someone answer this . i got a vs1880. im pretty sure its truebut it wont ' look ' like the others after it

Yes, the 1880 (and 1680) are both capable of using the VS8F-3 card, after upgrading the operating system to version 2.5 (1680), or 1.5 (1880)... go to rolandus.com and the download section to find the appropriate os updates.

does the vs8f-3 sound better in a 1880 than a vs8f-2 ? I mean is it more clear and hifi, nuanced ? Is it thicker, warmer-analog, emeulations truer than the one before it . . .

I know the dif plugins may be diffrent stories unto themselves on a vs through the card.

Some one tell me their ears intuition and feel about it.

I dont trust Rolands sterile attempts at showing what the vs8f-3
sounds like in their demos
