No idea what the unit is....but, my fave two modern 12ax7s are the TungSol and the JJ 803S---important to note NOT the 83S, which is the typical JJ people carry.
Sovtek isn't boutique....and is maybe some of the worst 12ax7s ever. So--take a pass. GT has too many lines....the name is meaningless, there ARE some good tubes with the name...
You don't have to bias preamp tubes, so....? Again, not familiar with what the Electro IS....but, you need class AB (push pull) power tubes biased when they're replaced for ideal performance....
