My friend Brian who is recently recovering from some pretty serious heart surgery kindly gave me a Benson P-Bass for me to keep and to de-fret for free. it's nice to slide again |

Really cool! I felt like I was listening to a lost track from Dark Side Of The Moon. |

So, you now have "PITCHLESS" bass. Good luck with that Mine rarely sees the daylight these days, just wishful thinking. -m |

Love fretless. I really have gotten lazy....I played nothing BUT fretless for like 15 years....but, the last decade or so, it's been more fretted than not....still every time I listen back to a fretless track I get a kind of smile in my heart that doesn't happen with fretted. Truth be told, I was thinking just last night how my combo of Stingray and EB Cobalt Flats make the fretted SOUND kinda fretless. I just was at the local mom&pop....ordered up a set of 5 string Labella flexible flats to restring the fretless. It's got (old as sin) DR steel rounds on it now....can't wait. I feel a fretless revival coming on in my world. |

Outstanding!! What a creative way to feature that bass. I love the synth tracks and the drum track was just awesome. Totally haunting piece of music and loved the mix. Love what you do!! Really nice! |

There are 4 instruments that I can play but would rather HEAR Baritone sax (takes too much air) Upright bass (kills my hands) oboe (too much back pressure) fretless electric (can't play in tune unless music is very simple) I do like to hear others play them -m |

Coolness! What did you use to fill the fret slots? I seem to remember somebody using Bondo (Jaco maybe)? Dig the tune bro! Pete |

I applied it with a butter knife, wiped off any excess and let it dry. Once dry it sets hard like epoxy. Thanks for the listens and comments guys! |
