I would like to have monitor and mouse capability. Is there anyway to mod the BR-1180CD to add these capabilities?

I've had mine for about 7 years and it's a great recorder, but I wish I had a better graphical interface.

Thanks from a noobie to this forum.

Also I was wondering if the Auto-tune feature of the BR1200 can be imported to BR1180CD? Does anyone still use the 1180? I mostly use it as a looper - I record ideas for songs, guitar rhythm first, then a bass track, then a lead idea, or a vocal, and have a drum track going; save as a named song. Then when I use it to practice everyone sucks the same as I do. We're all happy & C-appy.

Hi mgdesign, the answer to both your questions is NO!I had a BR1180 and a BR1600(great units) a few years ago and moved up to the VS2000CD because of the VGA and third party capabilities. You can bye a VS unit on ebay reasonably cheap but make sure it has the VGA exspantion board if you get a VS2000.Cheers,Bobkat
