My Mom lost her battle with ALS, she passed Thursday night at home surrounded with family.She was 68, diagnosed about 16 months ago.What a horrible disease.I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.She's done suffering and on to a better place,life's short man you just never know...be good to the ones that you love...hell be good to the ones ya don't :-) .. You might as well.

Rick, man I'm sorry. Mothers are a tough loss, I know that, been there.
I'm here to tell you it will get better, but it takes longer because no one else will ever love you like a mother does.
Hang in there. You'll be needed for a while to take care of things.

Thanks for the kind words guys.Our family is holding up pretty good,ALS is such a terrible disease there is a strong sense of relief for the end of her suffering.Nothing was left unsaid and she was surrounded with her family, and alot of praying and singing.
