...besides me?

The Nexus 10 pad came in, the wifey snarfed it up, wrapped it and put right next to the kid's Xbox 360 (that he knows the is there).

4 days.

We buy gifts after Christmas > the bargains are galore >> And we can RE-Gift the stuff we get..... My wife wants here first MP3 player > found her one, a Sansdisk.

...Believe it or not ( well coming from me ) she still uses a Sony cassette > playing her fav cassettes from 30+ years ago > no format problems \:p

We did all our gifts here already.

Exactly. And what tree? The trees I worked on today where all the bird feeders were full of frozen rain and the poor things were flitting about looking for food? \:\)

I just got plowed out tonight after our storm on Thursday. There's my present!

I bought myself a bunch of things this year, and I'm looking forward to those. A couple of small things - a PreSonus FaderPort and a Korg NanoKontrol. I think those will be great to use with my laptop. Looking forward to checking those out.

And speaking of cassettes, I have all my most important cassettes here - rare gigs, just ... stuff I have on cassette only. I bought a little AC powered USB cassette player so I can get all that stuff into 1s and 0s. Looking forward to that, a lot. Some of the stuff on those tapes is great.

I bought my family some fun stuff too - jigsaw puzzles, games, little things.

And today, we're driving out to the PX where I will be picking up my favorite gift of all: Xmas dinner. I'm making a standing rib roast with Yorkshire puddings and lots of delectable sides. Anti-diet food. Once a year is not so bad. \:\)

Check out the Samsungs to. Way cheaper than an ipod touch but you have all same abilities so she could also use apps.

Doesn't sound so weird to me. I'm having homemade chili which I thought was a nice change of pace.

But then again I'm only cooking for myself so wtf do I care?

I made burgers tonight on a George Foreman grill that I know was never a Xmas present.

I will have to heat them up in the microwave...because I only eat when it's time to eat.

A microwave is a huge technological break through, IMO. It doesn't get a virus or have to be on the internet to actually work. Think about giving someone a microwave for Xmas.

Inexpensive and they actually work!!!

I wonder if there are any microwaves that connect to the internet.

There some connected fridges by Samsung and LG on the market I've seen that look pretty cool. Will send you messages about groceries you're running low on and you can read your twitter feed ON THE REFRIGERATOR.

Now if that's not awesome I don't know what is.

Well, I asked for a Zoom A2 acoustic guitar multieffects pedal...have read many good reviews, and it's not an arm and a leg (usually sells for about 99 bucks).

Also asked for the Frampton Comes Alive 35 DVD...contains all of the "Comes Alive" tracks plus a whole 'nother set of newer material.

Money is pretty tight for us this year, but I sure would like to add that Zoom to my effects...

I got no ideas... I wrote no list, nor looked at any packages. Like Marty, if there's something I really want, I'm better off getting it myself. Some members of my family give me their list, or a few ideas, and others give no clues.

So I TOTALLY pissed her off by guessing what she got me...SO FUNNY!!!!....it took me a couple of days....I'm lookin at this box...2.5 feet tall, about a foot square....hmmmm.....then I said "Its a SMOKER!!!!!" The look on her face was PRICELESS....she was caught too quickly off guard (and sucks at lying anyway).....OMG. How funny....she was PISSED!!!! heh......

My daughter's mom asked me what I wanted.
I said a beautiful, exotic woman (who is not her).

So far no signs, but I'm still holding out hope that either:

1. The woman winds up under the tree.
2. My daughter's mother got so mad that she moves out (obviously, this is the preference).
3. Both 1 and 2.

Please send beams for my Christmas wishes to come true.

You may be laughing now, Jaz, but you just eliminated all great presents for the future.

If you're lucky enough to get a second chance, pretend you have no idea and act suprised as all get oout....even if you bought it and wrapped it yourself. \:D
