Check you pm. Yes, new plug-ins will work perfectly. They install to your VS unit's hard drive and get keyed to the VS8F-3's serial number in the process. During the install, the original plug-in disc gets written on and finalized, thus making it impossible to install again (making piracy impossible). After install, you there's a command to 'back up the plug-in' to a cd-r, thus allowing you to re-install the plug-in after a hard drive format or switching your VS8F-3 card to another VS unit. If you decided to sell the VS8F-3 card, the plug-in would go with it (because if you kept it, it wouldn't install on another VS8F-3 card.)
(The VS8F-3 card and the plug-ins get married to each other when the plug-ins get installed.)
