About the Organization
I've been a member of this organization for a few months now. This past week, THORN's founder, Ashton Kutcher, addressed the Senate to bring further awareness to this issue.
I encourage any and everyone that wants to stop human trafficking and child exploitation to join this organization. It's such a huge problem that federal, state, and local authorities can't take it on alone. We have to stop this at all costs, and THORN is an awesome organization and resource that brilliantly works to fight these evils. Ashton Kutcher and all the THORN key players are stand up people too, and for this, I have a huge amount of newfound respect for Kutcher and some of the other associated celebrities who are fighting the good fight.

Sounds like a worthy organization and one can only wish them success.
I read something really disturbing the other day and that is that half of the children/teens kidnapped or forced into sex slavery are never reported missing. It turns out that many of these victims were in the foster care system and basically no one cared enough to notice or report them missing.
Unfortunately, it seems that as long as there is a market, that is, as long as men want to screw prostitutes and sex slaves, as long as men have no conscience about their sexual misconduct and where they stick their sex appendage, as long as men can profit from the sexual exploitation of women and children, the sex trafficking industry will likely exist.
How can this be fixed? The male member is not likely to develop a conscience or compassion. People will continue to engage in sexual misconduct and to produce unwanted throwaway children (that pro-lifers only care about in the zygote and fetal stages) and with committing incest and raping and molesting children. This whole culture is now awash in porn and a male sense of entitlement to pervert sex. Heck, your country just installed a president who sees women as objects for his exploitation. A young man recently told me that millennial females had grown up with porn culture and so would let the males do anything, porn had normalized every perversion.
Obviously, the sexual exploitation of children and sex slavery and sex trafficking needs to stop, but what is the possibility of changing the hearts and morality of men? It seems rather a hopeless endeavor, but more power to those who are trying to put a dent in this abomination.
More and more I think the spiritual sickness of this time manifests itself in not caring. Not caring about the welfare of children allows sex trafficking. Not caring about the earth manifests in oil spills and nuclear accidents, and ad infinitum.

It's not just a gender issue. It's a greed issue. I'm sure that plenty of females are involved in it as well--trafficking and exploiting for profit.....
To answer your question, unfortunately this is like any other crime, except far worse IMO, and like any other crime all we can do is try to eradicate or curtail as much of it as possible. We'll never completely eliminate it.
But my feelings and thoughts on it are that perpetrators of human trafficking and especially child exploitation should be executed. Period! Done!....I completely support the notion of our deep black task forces shooting these POS on sight. That's a job I'd sign up for. They deserve no quarter and no mercy whatsoever IMO. I do not support torture--although if I did these POS would be my first choice for it--but I do support saving children and the taxpayers tons of money. Human garbage like that does not deserve to breath the same air as me or any other decent human being....not sure if that would deter the practices, but I have to think it would to a large degree.....
