Which version of VirDis should I be up to and using on a Win7 desktop pc these days?

I've currently got a ver. 3.06 beta.
Seems to be working okay with the VS-1680 this morning, but I haven't heard of any version beyond this beta.
Thanks.

Although 3.04(64-bit) and 3.06(32-bit) are the current releases, we are working feverishly on the next release - probably tagged 3.5. {Actually, I've been 'up till dawn' as well lately :).}

Question: I have an older PC running Windows Vista and wonder about VirDis specs, i.e. will the VirDis software work on that unit?

The original version of VirDis would certainly have been made to work on anything from XP and on, I'm guessing. Never personally had it on a Vista machine, but I have it on a Win7 desktop and it works fine there.
The computer itself doesn't need great specs to do what VirDis needs, but you do require a hardware PCI or PCIe slot and the right VirDis card to fit into it.

Is there an online site for purchase of the VirDis? I've got a pic of my laptop card slot and I want to make sure I get the right one...I googled around but haven't found a site...

This may be the only source for VirDis right now. Although he's never said so one way or the other, I'm pretty sure this seller is also the developer, Bill Casey.

Hope this helps.
You might try writing directly to him (through the "contact seller" link at the bottom of the listing), if you have questions about what will work and will not work.

VirDis is not currently designed to fit in a laptop card slot. You will need a desktop pc, or some kind of pci to usb adapter for laptop (I assume that should work too, but you should ask Bill).
