You may need to go and set up your play back / audio / monitoring in the EZ routing or patchbay ??? Which is something I do at the beginning of each and every project.. Via Franks ( VS Bible )
Before any project, you want to go into the Patch bay, Clear patch bay, then initialize it, Clear track Assign, then initialize it . So as to not have any left over parameters or settings from other projects.. and I then ( again via franks suggestions) I set up my audio .. In the top right corner of the EZ routing (patch Bay) I pull the Coax Optical outputs ( both listed at far right as LR ) pull them down to the ( MON ) lines, then in the same area of the patchbay ( top right ) I pull the ( PHONE 1 - 2 ) up from the MON lines to the MST lines.. which in turn should give you audio with head phones and Monitor knobs being separate... ?
