Hello fellow Planeteers, I feel compelled to rely to all the complete satisfaction I experienced concerning a sale on this site with another member; keeppracticing.
I expressed interest in the VS8F-3 card, fully loaded. However, my cash-flow situation at the time was hurting. To the rescue, keeppracticing, the pseudonym for "Eric", offered me a payment plan, which allowed me to make a series of payments over the course of a few months. Upon, shipping, I experienced a "Holdup from Hell" at Canadian Customs, due to a huge, 4 fold increase in shipping because of online selling, and no staffing to compensate. For a while there, I was unsure if the card was lost, or stolen, or anything.
I explained to Eric what was going on, and he was a Rock throughout the whole process. He stood by me, and let me know that he was going to get some resolution for me if the cards were an absolute no-show. I can't even begin to explain how comforting that was to hear. Over the course of this hassle with Customs, I had many, many, emails directed to Eric, and he promptly answered every one. Again, very reassuring. Once I received my VS8F-3 card and plugins, Eric walked me through the many concerns and questions I had. He didn't have to do any of this. Our sale was completed. But Eric still took the time to ensure my satisfaction with the sale was 110%.
I realize that this must sound like a lot of perhaps over-endorsement, or maybe suspicion I was paid to make this post, however, I can assure anyone out there that what I'm saying is heart-felt, as well as totally honest. It goes without saying that I would not only buy products from Eric again, I would also whole-heartedly give him a thumbs-up as the "go-to" seller for the VS8F-3 card and Plugins.
As for the VS8F-3 Card and Plugins?? I can only say that I was blown-away! Awesome to use. EASY to operate!! Remember: much of the higher-end gear has a lot of simplicity built into it. I can only guess because they don't need a bunch of other circuitry and knobs and buttons to compensate for their lack of processing they are trying to achieve. What surprised me was the ease which I began to use the "3" card and effects. Eric was right. I likely won't be using my "2" series cards all that much anymore. In fact, I'm thinking of buying another VS8F-3 card to give me more processing power on tap, without having to print my effects. This isn't really a shortfall, it's more my personal preference.
My main reason for posting this: I wanted to let my feelings and experience with buying the VS8F-3 card be known, as I was debating even buying them...convinced that the "2" series cards were enough. And they are very, very, good. However, IF you are thinking about the "3" series cards, then contact "keeppracticing", and you too might soon be the owner of a new series of effects on your VS unit. cheers,
ricco (Rick)
