All,

Here is a first cut of my VS-1880 song to Reaper project converter.

If you have an IDE CF/SD card installed you should just be able to plug it directly into your PC and run this program on Windows 64-bit.

Let me know if it is working for anybody else. Some output below, should be fairly self-explanatory.

Cheers,

Randy

strictly 64 bit, or will it run on 32 bit system too?
I don't have experience with 64 bit systems, so sorry if it's a silly question.

Good question. I don't have a 32-bit system handy. I figured the Go compiler would just target the host system, but maybe it's a 32-bit executable. I will do a bit of research...

If a VS-1680 MTP mode version becomes available I'd be happy to pay for it and think others would as well. The convenience alone would be well worth the price.

I don't have a VS-1680 anymore, but it is not so different from a VS-1880. If someone could send me an SD card image (or IDE drive image for that matter) of a few sample songs on various partitions of a VS-1680, the mods should be easy.
