You'd have to print your fx to their own tracks (or bounce your original tracks down with the fx on them) and export those tracks to bring into a DAW.
Another way would be to use them in real time via an AE-7000 unit for mnulti channel streaming in/out R-BUS (and into a DAW). (You could also go in/out of an external ADC/DAC and into the 2480 via coax spdif or fiber optical, but then you're limited to 2 tracks.
I find it best to stay in the Roland and work there, then export tracks and work in a DAW and stay there. There are much easier ways to work than trying to incorporate the 2480 and DAWs partnering up.
