Well I do.
So I got those pages with the little black dots and lines all over them, oh yeah... sheet music; used my SY99 as a keyboard controller, did some MIDI connection stuff, and used one of my eight Miraslov Philharmonik Orchestra's 9' Concert Grand pianos for a sound source.
It took a while over the weekend, but here it is.
Notice the continual tapping of the G# that signifies the rain drops.
Hope you enjoy it.

That's actually pretty cool. Nice build up to the thunder storm. I like the flow of the whole thing. What kind of keys were you using on this?

Thank you.
As I mentioned above...

I like these quite a bit and they can be tweaked with all sorts of things, or just played dry.
They were sampled in stereo from a Steinway, I believe.
Of course, it was also mastered in-house to preserve the vast majority of dynamics.

Yes, the tones are amazingly right on. Surprisingly sounds like you miced a grand with ribbon mics and a couple of large diaphragms. Nice what you can do with some midi and top sound sources. Couldn't do that a couple of decades ago.

Miroslav Vitous, really? Awesome!
Thanks.
It's not an especially difficult piece or anything, but it needs to be played with emotion and dynamics. Otherwise, it comes out sounding really blasé and repetitious.
