Dammit. I'm hearing a pop or two in there that I apparently didn't catch before. Back to the drawing board. To troubleshoot whether it's a power conditioning thing... or what.

the clips I hear are likely out of sync ticks caused by multiple digital devices that were not sync'd properly (word clock, ADAT sync, etc.). With the right tools and a bit of patience, it's easy enough to either try to edit out the ticks, or better, to go into the individual tracks and clean up the ticks there. You could do it with some spot automatic click and pop removal and a computer (other than the VS that is), or manually, if you can edit at the sample level, which I don't think the VS can do either.

Nice tune and recording though - I like music like this a lot.

Let me know, if there's anything I can do to help get rid of the ticks. I do have the right tools. I'd just need copies of the tracks.

Thank you for listening and commenting - and offering to help. I may just take you up on that.

But first I want to go back and see if I can figure out "where/how" along the way those pops got there (@ approx 1:06 and 1:49). Work is crazy busy right now so it'll probably be a couple of days before I can investigate. Thanks again!

Nice job on a clean slide with interesting chords. It brought a song to mind that I used to like...The theme song to an old show called "Spencer for Hire."

Pops are gone. Apparently, it was a result of the upload and/or file transfer process. It was not on any of the raw tracks, bounce track, or master file.

But I also remixed and now the slide part is lower in volume.

I'll be back tomorrow. Fatigue is setting in. Having fun though!

I want to be clear in saying the two songs don't sound alike, but they do remind me of each other. \:\)

Oh sure. Post here in the mp3 forum where no one is bound to see it.

But I found you Mr. Webster!

Not bad good sir!

Cleanly played and nice slidage.

My only minor pitnick is it could use maybe just a *smidge* more briteness (not brightness, it's important not to confuse the two. )

Thank you. I have planned on going back to tweak some eq. Hopefully this weekend. I just need to remember to add briteness instead of brightness. \:\)
