if i recall Brett used those drives, it's the drive i purchased to convert my vscdr2 over from cd to dvd. The song vault uses the same board. So that's your drive.

Thanks so much -- After reading the blog : looks to be too tight for my nimble fingers -- will probably try to find someone to perform the task.. Rather have it repaired correctly

Let me know if you're interested in disposing of the SongVault stuff in the future. I have one half-built just sitting around, looking for parts (whenever I think of it).
