Yes. The Antares would be good from what I've seen
On utube. But that still tells me nothing.
Hopefully there's still helpful people here.
Thanks so much.

Brian, to my knowledge there is no way to use the Anteras plugin with the 2480 unless you were to move the 2480 files to a DAW. Unfortunately without a CD burner the only readily available way to move your files would be via Virdis.

I know the 3 cards have Anteras, but I believe he was talking about the DAW plugin.

I'm guessing the cards loaded in yr 2480 are just v2cards? Only way will be to add a external cd/DVD drive via scsi, update the OS software to (2.53 I think? Can't recall) and install a v3card + the Roland autotune plugin disc. Lots of "upgrades" but not impossible. Good luck!

You'd have better luck finding a vscdr drive than the VS Antares plugin. Then you can transfer your tracks to a PC and use antares in a sound editor and transfer them back. just my opinion, helpful or not. lol

Another suggestion (if you only need to transfer one or two tracks at a time) would be just coming out of either coax/spdif digital output and running into a sound card / interface with matching coax/spdif input monitoring at the same sample rate / bit depth and on in to whichever auto tune/effect.

Didn't see your PM. Is there a way outside of purchasing a 3 card to use Antares in the 2480? Didn't think there was... Since this convo I've really started thinking about an Anteras purchase for Reaper.

Since you're in Reaper, have you tried their auto-tune plug-in called "REAtune"? Worth checking out if you haven't already.

But how could I get that screen on the 2480
I can't find where that cd is even sold anywhere.
I'm not sure which cards I have.
Could I install a cd drive? Would That help.
I just know it would be awesome to have!!
I'll do what I have to. Any help is appreciated.
I'm using this in a live application. So I only want
To do it locally. Thanks for any more help.
