I did not know this, but a friend of mine informed me of this this past weekend.
Apparently Weilands tour bus stopped at a restaurant in the Chicago burbs and the following night is when he was found dead on his tour bus.
Incidentally, I drive by this restaurant every time I go to my mother in laws place. A totally non descript joint with a sign that looks like it belongs to a 1970s motel.
My wife and I have always wanted to try the place, but have never stepped in. I think we might do so now.
Just pretty weird, that of all the places a rock band stops along the way of their tour is a joint called Mack’s Golden Pheasant.
