Definitely too high, in the Hypertension range.
But, if this is your only reading, you could still be OK. People's BP changes throughout the day, and if your average is lower and in the normal range, these occasional higher readings are not necessarily indicative of Hypertension. Some people's BP goes up after caffeine, some when nervous.
Best to keep the systolic 120 or below and the diastolic below 80. High BP is a silent killer, involved with cardiovascular disease, stroke, Alzheimer's Disease. One can often lower BP naturally by becoming fitter, i.e., losing weight, exercising, cutting down on saturated fats and salt. And there are some herbs reputed to help with BP, astralagus and others.
Basically the deal is this: almost everything you like is not good for you and if you want to live long and stay healthy, you basically gotta eat roots, nuts, berries and grains, no smoking, minimal or no alcohol, no soda pop, chocolate cake. Basically, if you like it, it is probably not good for you. The good news is that after awhile, tofu and broccoli start to grow on you.

Never smoke or drank -- still hovering around 140 -- back to the gym 6 days a week now -- Live on nuts /berries / etc. No fast food ~ since the 70's .
Hope I don't have to start scrips > to move that BP back down to 120 steady

As long as your blood pressure (or cholesterol or blood sugar level) is better than your doctor’s, your OK. I was good for years until my doctor lost weight and started exercising.

Yeah, they seem to change the guidelines every few years.
I've been hanging out at the high end of the "Stage 1 Hypertension" range for a while despite medication. I need to see my cardiologist about maybe changing meds.
Take it seriously. My brother died from complications of kidney failure caused by having un-diagnosed high blood pressure for a long time. See your doctor!
