I need a lead or referral--my old high school teacher just told me he has tapes of the Crawford High School Band from '71-'73, when I was on drums along with with Nathan East on bass, Carl Evans Jr (Fattburger) on piano, Hollis Gentry lll (Larry Carlton) on sax and the rest of the band--we were smokin' and most of us are still playing.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Doug

I would love to give some meaningful advice but I can't.

"I need a lead or referral"...

"Jazzooo needs this shit!" - there! done!

That said, I would bet that you will need an analog to digital converter somewhere in your quest.

I hope you recover and share soon.

Just had 5 from the mid 60's transferred -- with my second engineer -- does the box have details ( brand /etc ) And where has the tape been sitting ?? Will probably have to be baked ..

Doug, if these are stereo channels, and not multi-track channels, I would recommend the Alesis Masterlink. It will record stereo mixes to CD very easily. It will also provide you with a CD quality stereo recording.
