i used to work a few years back a couple hundreds miles away from here in a motel that was near a major highway.
so the boss had just hired a new manager.
i think the official title was "Director". lol 
he was acting like he had been promoted to the direction of Club Med in Hawaii.
so he cheerfully asks everyone present: "I wonder what's the difference between a motel and an hotel..."
i say:
"that's simple.
with a motel, you can back up your car all the way to your door, take out the body out of the trunk, chop him up in the bathtub during the night.
and have it all bagged up, cleaned up, loaded in the car and ready to go before the cleaning ladies start their shifts at 7 AM.
Have you ever tried going through an hotel Reception with a body in your hockey equipment bag, the legs and arms coming out of the bag?
It just does not work."
he looked at me with his jaw on the floor.
i was kidding, of course. 
he didn't stay there for too long.
i wonder why... lol

ah!
i could tell the guy was way overqualified for the job.
he head been a director of a very big company well know in the entertainment business.
i'm not gonna name it, but everybody has heard that name.
what he was doing working in a motel, i had no idea...
he did not to expect to actually do real work at the motel, saying he had an army of secretaries doing his every whims at his former job.
it was "just a motel, not a church", like the boss said frequently. lol
