the last day and a half he cycled through Yellowstone - what a beautiful ride - he'll be in Colorado in a few days.
last time he came thru he had dinner w/ Geo, Bear and me in Pueblo Colorado - really good guy - i wish we were going to get a chance to see him again but i guess he's kinda busy.

He is really just taking his time. He was far less stressed this year than last year. He sent me a picture today of his bike, olf faithful and a bison.

Hi guys just got to see this...currently busy dodging (or not) thunder rain and hail through Colorado . Made it to kremmling but couldn’t get through rain to silverthorne tonight as planned. That means tomorrow is a 40 mile climb before I climb Hoosier pAss at 11500ft elevation... and it looks like more of same rubbish weather. Yep about two weeks from Astoria oregon to here on a bicycle, and I’m getting dropped by the race! Leader finishes in Yorktown in next few hours!!...
I’m happier though as it’s now about enjoying the ride more than blitzing it lol! Highlights so far have been the many continental divide crossings I’ve done, Yellowstone, riding the kochsa river, freezing my ass off in hells canyon Idaho at 3am, watching hailstones grind off the painted street lines on a climb out of Richland, getting thrown out of the post office at old failthfull by a witch ranger woman, only to be given a free room at the old faithful hotel by the Wyoming police department, some amazing scenery, summittibg togwattee pAss in the snow , and living every minute as though it were my last! Downsides... hmmmm... USA food sucks lol!... Colorado weather sucks, Wyoming needs to resurface it’s roads urgently, a very close call with a prick semi driver, and a busted rear derailer hanger. But having fun in this wonderful country of yours again :)! Can’t akways get WiFi or cell service in many places but am trying to post pictures on my Facebook when I do. Friend me on face book if your want to see them :£ cheers guys
