Guaranteed, my version of George Carlin would take that back in a heartbeat. In this bit he dug into all of the native American stereotypes and earned his way into the comedy hearts of all white television viewers. He was showing us who we are. It wasn't until twenty years later that he let us know what he thought of us as we sat in our ivory towers. But I'm still embarrassed about George Carlin's version of how things were in the days of old when white men were bold and indigenous people were too irrelevant to be of interest.
