In ICU now. The Prime Minister of the U.K..... not taking this seriously, shaking hands and generally ignoring social distancing recommendations just 2-3 weeks ago. And now may be in the fight of his life.
Over the course of this afternoon, the condition of the prime minister has worsened and, on the advice of his medical team, he has been moved to the intensive care unit at the hospital.
The PM has asked Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab, who is the first secretary of state, to deputise for him where necessary.

Boris is a human being first and the PM next . I wish him and his Fiancé well.
I did not vote for him, that is irrelevant. The politics can wait.
This country needs a leader to rally behind and get through this nightmare. Boris is that leader, at least for this crisis.
Hopefully his ICU admission will ram things home to those idiots still not taking covid19 risk seriously in our population. Thankfully the majority however are fully compliant with the lockdown . Maybe now those that arnt will realise why Boris put the lockdown in place.

To echo RGR, I am really not a fan of the man but wouldn't with this upon anybody - he's needed to steer us along and I hope he has a speedy recovery.
