Which is twice what I would consider fair for a mint condition one.
But this one comes complete with original carrying case. Plus, I did not yet have the grandpappy of VS’s in my collection, yet, so that’s a bit of a twofer.

Oh. Oh dear. I bought a Sony mini-disk player a few weeks ago, and it has the same problem. I definitely don't want/need to open it up, but just to clean the carcase will be a task for a winter weekend. 'Use a slightly damp lint-free cloth', read the instructions, 'no harsh chemicals' etc. So how?! My wife bought a recon desktop some time ago, and it was absolutely spotless. I wonder what the computer boys use?
