C Jo Go C Jo Go EMERITUS ~ VS Roland Loquacious Planeteer Registered: 11/05/01 Posts: 36518 Loc: carmel valley,ca	Is there a series of buttons to hold down (WITHOUT a hard RESET == Losing Data ) when stating up the 2480 ... Sorry to hear that $\:\($ But if you did the channel 4 Edit / Track button trick, you just skipped the loading of the project , hence the "empty" project / tracks .... Do a normal power up again and I´m sure the project will be back ... ( if nothing else has fucked up .... ) I know these "secret" buttons : " Info Mode " : Press and hold channel 1 EDIT and TRACK buttons at start up= info about OS and boot system and more. ( on LCD screen only ) Press "ENTER" to continue start up, or shut down with Power switch. " Test Mode " : Press and hold "PAGE" and "F1" button to enter test mode where different buttons and faders function can be tested. ( on LCD screen only ) Do NOT press "PAGE" again and F1 "Frm&Ld" and F2 "HDFrmt" ! Will format the HD !!! To exit Test Mode : shut down with power switch. Sheers ! ALWAYS track /save with the VIR~DIS -- never use the internal for recording ... SO :: most of the projects , I had backed up -- The new 80gb is up and running .. luckily we have the HD model -- don't have to resemble the 2480 --quick install ..
