Hi all. Trying to get songs from my VS 1880/1824 into a DAW.
Seems I can't find a good copy of Bears Ripping software (VS Wave export).

Tried to open file and get a message it's missing something \:\(

Was thinking If I can get this , then use it to rip a Song Copy Playable CD with songs, into wav files, so then I can add individual tracks to a DAW.
Unless there's another way...or a bettet way?

Any help much appreciated.
Thanks

Stay healthy

I installed Virdis. You can search it on this forum.. it's a combination hardware software installation which fools the 1680 into thinking that it's part of the 1680 architecture.. you simply either record onto or back up to Virdis and then use the wave export tool that comes with it.. I've done this very successfully a bunch of times in the last couple years. Huge advantage also in backup speed from the original 1680 which I got back in the late '90s.. best of luck!
