I've used a 1680 since 1999 and just bought a 2480. No dialog boxes show up on the screen so am finding it impossible to navigate around. For example, when I try to shutdown it doesn't show the "Shutdown Y/N" dialog, so I'm not even sure how to shutdown! Any idea why this might be happening? The previous user says he didn't turn the dialog alerts off (if that's even possible).
Also for example, I pressed play and record just to make a change on the track and when I got to shutdown it doesn't ask me to save it.
