Don´t think so ....... : / As I understand it recovering data from backups ( CD's or external HD ) is performed via SCSI cable ..... 1680 backup data can be imported to 2480 under "PROJECT" list. Select "CD Drive" or "External Drive" at the bottom of the list. Then select "LIST" and mark the project you want to import ( one or more ) Select "RECOVER" in list at VGA bottom screen ( page 3 ? ) Select witch partition / drive the import will end up in .... Just wondering .... How did you get the 1680 data to a DAT in the first place ? Cheers !

gyorpb gyorpb Planeteer Registered: 05/11/19 Posts: 259	The VS-1680 can backup to —and recover from— DAT. The VS-2480 cannot. You‘ll have to transfer your DAT backup to CD or Zip with the 1680, first.
