It would be pitiful. A few years ago I tried to make a routine of it, and I worked my way up to 30 before I got lazy again. ... OK. I tried. I was right. Pitiful. 10. Barely.

I can do as many as I desire. Zero at the moment, but I am capable...
Clap pushups I have not tried in quite a while. Had a bad experience while trying to win a bet on ice one time.

I was up to 100 at my peak. Kinda hesitant to try now, carpal tunnel surgery made my right hand a bit weaker.

I remember watching my kid working out while we were locked down. He would do 100 push-ups with a 50-lb weight strapped to his back. I would go for brownies.

I can barely do 10 "girl" pushups. My legs are in good shape, though.

When I was in the Infantry back in '90-'93 the minimum number of pushups to pass the test was 42. I still do 42 pushups every year on my birthday (just did them in July) to make sure I can still pass that part.....I am afraid I would fail miserably at the sit ups and the 2 mile run.....but I still got my pushup chops!

30 right now. I was up to fifty a couple months ago. Doesn't take long to lose capacity at our age.

OH MAAANNNNNN!!!
You JUST beat me to the punch. DAMN!
. . FUalcon
PS..I thought I'd leave the 'anomaly keystroke' signature in place. According to all of the malware scanners I have, it's NOT something like THAT, and I can't seen to track it down, so far.
Anytime I hit (shift) 'f', it's immediately followed with a 'U'...like this:
FU
BUT, not when using the CapsLocks button.
F
But if I now type an f' with the CapsLock button 'on' while holding the (shift) key, I get:
fu
Messed up, huh?

I remember mine did quirky things when the battery was low. Since then, I just went back to using a USB one.

No battery... Charges from the PC Tower via a USB cable. I know, sounds weird, but it is, in fact, wireless.
Ohhhhhh, I remember reading about some type of Left+Right+Shift key simultaneously pressing solution a LONG time ago.
I kept notes on it in a Word doc.
Thanks for jogging my memory, man!

Have any of you seen the movie "The Pick of Destiny" that starred Jack Black?
There was a very interesting "push-up" theme, and I won't spoil it.

Perhaps the internal battery can be replaced...

I agree. It definitely sounds like he has a weak battery.

What do they call it? Planking? When you just hold the push-up position for a long time? Good start for us out-of-shape old farts, so we don’t hurt ourselves trying to keep up with the kids.

Ha Ha, LOL!
Days of doing 100 push-up on my knuckles in the dojo are LONG GONE!
So are the days of working out for 30 minutes in each session on the Makiwara board. Now, bear in mind that in the Okinawa discipline, we used a thick rope tied Makiwara board over 2 inches of hard wood. Not these pussy online order boards that other styles may use.
When we escaped from a full-Nelson capture, we raised our legs COMPLETELY from the floor, and used ALL OF OUR WEIGHT to drop to the floor for the escape.
Okinawan Uechi-Ryu was one of the most intense & difficult styles of Japanese Martial Arts one could ever undertake, and had an incredible high drop-out rate.
Taekwondo students didn't stand a chance against our techniques, since we trained to destroy their quadriceps with precisely placed kicks, immediately, so they could NOT raise their legs to kick us. They HATED to face us in tournaments.
I had plenty of years undergoing THAT torture, which is more than likely why I have joint issues at this juncture.
. . Falcon
