It seems people won't accept I've retired, hence the new logo. I don't mind, although I've been fairly 'choosy' when it comes down to undertaking new work to be mastered.
Established clientele, of course...
New clientele... the unique way I offer my services and input, it better be a pristine mix, and a serious group of musicians.

Although I COULD do that Marty, the vast majority of mastering engineers don't actually require a U87.

The 'Studios' plural is because a friend of mine that runs a great place down in Atlanta did the same thing, first.
It's called 'HDQTRZ' Mastering Studios, and it's run by Earle Holder. Now if that name sounds familiar to anyone, it's because he's also a member of the VS-Planet.
Earle was the audio sound engineer that worked with Paavo Jumppanen from Australia to perfect a new way to VISUALLY master material.
It was released in 2003, and they called it 'Har-Bal'.
Earle had always been a programming genius, as well as a gifted keyboardist, bassist, and also played guitar. He had an incredible knack for mixing sound with bands long before he started his studio.
While he was about six to seven years into the mastering studio, the release of Har-Bal really took off for them, and garnered a couple of notable awards.
One was with EQ Magazine for the MUST BUY product of the year, and the other was KEY BUY of the year from Keyboard Magazine. They'd struck gold with this product, and were already on a couple of new updates.
After a few more years passed, Earle had producers for acts such as Beyonce, Public Enemy, DeBarge, Ludacris, and Tameko Starr from Europe come to him for mastering.
A bit later, he was inducted into the list of Grammy Engineering Judges for his expertise in that category.
So my friend is doing alright for himself, has a wonderful wife, kids, and pretty nice family life to boot.
He's got a chain of them. Thus the tag line, "Over 43 Million Mastered!"
The only 'chains' I've got dude, are the ones I create in my recording & mastering software.
OH, and a BIG thank you for the nice words about the new logo. It's been 22 years before this update. I guess I'm just LAZY.
Speaking of which...whenever I played that song on my B3 (with my twin 147's screaming) in the living room at my parents house; I'm NOT 100% sure my parents really 'dug' it (God rest their souls).
I'd just turned 16 two months before Machine Head was released, and I was all over it when I got it home and on the turntable. Had a Farfisa upstairs in my room to pick out the parts, and the B3 and pair of 147's just down the stairs to wail it out as I got them down pat.

i'd go for something more stylized but with less details.
just the head of a peregrine flacon, but stylized.
this looks like the crest of a pee-wee hockey team, imo.
