Might be wrong but I think the 2480 an import vs80 projects/tracks,

Recall bring in a vs880 project that was recorded on two 880 to make 16 track. Long time ago, think 2003 ish

Good luck

If I’m remembering right you use the spidif coax or optical out on the DAT to in on the 2480. Not remembering if there is a data back up option thiugh.

Can you burn a data back up to CD then load that in ?

Good luck

Okay…just me thinking here… if you haven’t you had to select 880 in the menu.

Other wise maybe a corrupt back up or DAT tape went bad.
