I can see where it's coming from. I remember playing Liz Phair and My Bloody Valentine for my older brother back in the 90's. When he heard My Bloody Valentine, he asked if the CD was broken. I listened to the studio version. I kept waiting for a bridge. It kind of reminds me of The Breeders.
