Daves not here man. ts almost funnier now then back then. Heh i have been listening to the tunes you have all put down here and must say this is great stuff. I dont think ill get around to a version yet although i really want to try one....okay ill tell you what i was thinking a synth pad with strings approach. dont know if itll work but i like to hear her voice in that.
Nice work to all. I like the fact that some are adding to others work here major nice collaborating. I have a few days off so if i get time i will do a version. as you can guess by my last effort things either roll off right away with me or fester for weeks. Ya and i saw a doctor about it and he said i have unresolved issues; whatever! thanks again for the tunes guys and Jacks.

Guy, I think "All along the Watchtower" was Jimi's worst work man!!! I am a huge Hendrix fan too man!! I just can't stand hearing him do that tune. I'd much rather har "Manic Depression" or "Stone Free", in the band we do "Red House" and "Purple Haze", we used to do "Fire" awesome dance tune, and the first song me and Joey ever recorded together was "Wind Cries Mary", I think I sent you that didnt I? Joey was like 10, and playing drums on that, me playing everything else, my lead guitar sounds so "winpy" ha ha.. I was proud of my son though, 10 years old and only made 1 mistake. You gotta admit though, Hendrix rocked for a crazy dude on Acid who choked to death on his own puke at age 28, he sure accomplished alot in the few years he had on this Earth. Jack

It's just a shame about that Dave dude I jammed with. He was thee only singer I have ever known to be able to harmonize w/ himself. He had a split larynx or something. He could produce 2 tones simultaneously at will. I kid you not. I was just listening to one of our rehearsal tapes and was reminded of it when listening to him do it on one of the tunes he wrote. I'd post it if I had his permission. But, I havent seen him since 1997 when me and my bass player at the time had a jam w/ him and his guitarist. I have no idea where he lives.

Den, I have seen SO many musicians that have ruined themselves with Booze, or other stupid things, it's unreal man. Dave is not in an elite group man, there are so many out there. I used to be able to do what Dave did, harmonize with myself, before smoking too much, and screaming too much to try and be heard over the other way too loud bandmembers. I remember me singing the harmony parts of Beatle tunes with myself simply because I didnt understand it was more than one person singing...lol if you can believe that.. It sucks to grow old, and I wish I'd have NEVER started smoking. Jack
