yes count this sinner in on a collab. Tim I may have figured things better on the 1880..I learnt a lot on the Cheap purple thing...it is simple. Leave the drum count in on all the tracks all the time (until the very final mixdown)...I found out how to use something called a waveform editor, and when the count is in there on each track I can line stuff up that is recorded in via the digital connection instead of imported (like in the 2480)...

I like the sleigh bells a lot but they are over riding the guitar. I would have th eguitar much more sharper in the mix and tone down the bells..maybe have them soaked in reverb so they sound far off and magical.
The vocal is very cool, nice lyrics. I think however that the track neds more atmospherics..I mean more bells etc..
I have to say that I think we must do a collab together on the acoustic side... have you heard my song " Footsteps in the snow"? It's on the VS planet cd and you can listen at the link in my sig below. Would have been great to work these two songs together somehow...
On the eq side I think it is a question of brightening things up to add some sparkle.
