subtlenergies subtlenergies Space Cadet Registered: 01/19/09 Posts: 1	When I purchased the BR1600 I was under the impression that the CDs it made could be played on any CD player. Apparently that's not true, it's just for backing up data. I want to try downloading into a wave file in my computer via USB. Do I need to install a special driver? I plugged in and nothing happened. Also, can it transfer more than one track? The manual seems to say that you can't. If that's true than I bought the wrong equipment.

I've Imported many wave files. You first press the Utility button, scroll to USB and select Import, than press Enter. Than select the track to import to. You should see a icon 'br_1600, just like you inserted a flash drive. Click on the icon, click the Roland folder, and drag the wave file you want to Import into the USB folder. Press Exit on the BR-1600, press 'Enter' and the BR-1600 should import the wave file to the track you selected. Yeah, you can only Export one track at a time. Walther Walther Space Cadet Registered: 03/26/09 Posts: 1	With the new software version 2.01 for the BR1600CD you can save all tracks at once.
