The Master track recording function is not working
|

Since all 16 available tracks have ben used I was attempting to use the mixing down to master tracks function. I have the 2005 Roland VS recorder Power guidebook and followed the master track instructions on pages 202 & 203, but the 1680 is not going into the recording mode. Am I missing something? Thanks.

Is your firmware version 2.00 or higher?

it is 2.02, and the diagrams on the screen in the book matched what I saw on the 1680, but would not drop into record in the master track setting.

I don‘t know the book you‘re referring to. Mixdown to master tracks is described in the VS-1680 V-Expanded Owner‘s Manual, pp. 8-13.
