Anybody have one or played through this system? Seems ideal for what I would need it for, but it is a bit pricey. It does eliminate the need for monitors, cables, etc. etc.

I've got the L1 Classic. LOVE it for solo stuff. Occasionally you can make a duo work through it. Any more than that is pushing it.

It really does what it says in terms of keeping a consistent volume in the back of the room without blowing out the people in the front.

Strengths:
1) Simple
2) Fast Setup
3) Relatively lightweight for the amount of sound/coverage you get
4) Eliminates needs for separate monitors, power amp, etc...
5) More consistent volume throughout room, even in back
6) Very wide horizontal dispertion
7) Improves intelligibility of vocals in very ambient environments
8) Holds resale value pretty good

Weaknesses:
1) No effects and very limited EQ (Classic model)
2) Really only designed to handle a couple vocals and an instrument, maybe two.
3) Expensive, and generally NO retail discounting (like Apple)
4) Doesn't play very "nice" with other manufacturers' gear

Thanks. I was thinking of getting the sound module and the double bass package. Appreciate the review.
