RPC-1 needs to be version RPC-1A03 not RPC-1A02

Just wondering, what are the differences between the RPC-versions, or what should I keep in mind when shopping for one of these ?

Any preference of the M-Audio deltaR over the RPC or vice versa ?

How do you tell what the version is? - I have one but I see no numbers on it that say anything about a version.

And I was unaware there were different versions. As Ptr asked, what are the differences, and why is one better than another?

Ah... I do see - the Xilinx FPGA 17S30 program proms have a number on them

Mine does say 1A03 for the A part - the B part says says 1B01

Hello,

Would be interesting to hear if there are issues with earlier RPC-1 versions.
Can't remember having seen reports about showstoppers with earlier versions,
but still...


Apart from that, anybody any preference of the M-Audio Delta-R vs the RPC-1 ?

Thought to have understood that the M-Audio has some more functionality,
but since all I'd be using is the R-Bus functionality* I'd prefer the card which has the
least issues with compatibility/driver/general-hassle

I have both. There is spdif on the M-audio.
