I enjoyed the book too. It was interesting to see how hard they worked from the time they recorded "Love Me Do" until the next single. Certainly not an overnight sensation. I got the regular edition. I understand the expanded edition is even longer as well as including extras. I thought he did an exceptional job of capturing the city and the time period.
Its going to take a long time for Lewisohn to get this completed. I read that Vol. 2 is not expected for 2-3 more years.
