Just how good is this plugin? I own an Eventide Eclipse, and previously, a Space pedal.

Pretty good. It is modelled on the HS3000. I don't think it has the Steve Vai presets of the later "blue" version I remember using back in the 90's. It would be worth getting if you didn't own the Eclipse. From a quick glance at Eventide's website it seems the Eclipse is the latest version of a long list of harmonizers going back to the original H949.

I think the one issue I had with the VS8F2 cards is that you can't reshuffle the order of FX blocks. Can you do that with these plugins? I wonder, can the SB do crystals type shifters too?

LOL. It's crystals I was looking for. Either I haven't found it or it must have been one of the effects from the Vai (blue) edition. I assume you have crystals on your Eclipse ?

Yep, the Eclipse has crystals among other great fx. But it's one processor, and I like to have as many simultaneous fx as possible.

Installed today and it does a nice detune echo. Now I want 4 of these cards instead of 1.

Yes, (4) VS8F-3's in a unit is the way to go!!! Even the 3 cards by themselves are getting harder to come by these days though, snag 'em while you can!
