Having trouble recording a cd with what ive recorded.


Recorded a song,mixed it in 9/10 mode, backed it up and try to pass it on to cd....no go...it goes through the whole proccess, and even finalizes cd and i go to play cd and theres nothing there....what gives?

Are you using the 'Data Save/Load' button? This way merely backs up your data to a cdr for safekeeping to load back onto another or same BR1180 for further work...The data will not play in a cd player.

Use 'Audio CD Write/Play' button instead...follow prompts to write 'disc at once'...This finalized cdr will play in most cd players, though some are fussy about playing cdrs...Taiyo-Yuden/JVC makes excellent cdrs that will generally read in most all players.

I sure hope this helps. Frustrating at times, but 'trial-and-error' is how I got quite handy with the BR1180CD...

Manual is a great reference source though too.
