He helped me immensely and I'll always have my 2480 manual to remember what a great and inspirational man he was.

Pam, I'm going to send you a Private Message that should show up in Frank's email account (the one that he used for The Planet).

I want to send a donation in Frank's memory. This idea came from a very classy guy here named Starliner, so I'm hoping that you see more donations soon.

Pam,
So saddened to learn of Frank's passing just now. No doubt you've done a lot of grieving along the way as his health declined. I wish you peace in the days which follow this big change in your life.

I want you to know that Frank's work lives on in the music which is created here! His sage technical advice and steady demeanor made a big impact on me both musically and personally as I was learning the ropes. I will think of him frequently and warmly.

Sincerely,

D Cozzens

So sorry to hear about Frank. He helped me so much over the last few years and I feel so bad that there was nothing that I could do to repay him. No matter how big of a bone-head I was, he would take the time and walk me through things so that I would understand. When I saw the post, it was as if a huge part of my insides had been ripped away leaving nothing more than a large hollow feeling. I wish there was something that I could do to help you through this terrible time. I will guarantee you one thing for sure. Frank helped so many people here that we will carry and hold his name high in this group. The part of Frank that went into this group shall never fade and he will live on in this forum.

I was very saddened by the news of Franks passing. I rarely post here but still visit once or twice a month to check in and one thing I recognized very early on, was that Frank never hesitated to share his knowledge and give his time unconditionally to all here. Only special people do that. Deepest condolences to you Pam and your family.

So sorry to hear this. Frank was a good guy. He and I had a very good relationship. I never had a single problem with him. He was dedicated to the VS2480 forum and helping others.

He will be sorely missed. \:\(

I haven't logged in to the site in a few months.
I just saw this. \:\(

Last PM'ed with Frank in July of 2016.
Never met him in "real life", but he helped me immensely with my setup and always had the answers for my questions.

He didn't have to help anybody, but he seemed to truly enjoy it.

I wish I could have had a beer with him or something...but I'll never forget him. Every time I turn on my VS2480

I visit this site so rarely... I am so very sorry to hear of Franks passing, I did not know him well but he always treated me with respect. I am a real novice with the 2480 but Frank was always willing to help, he even took the time to email me info after I contacted him not knowing he was on vacation and took time to answer my question. He will be greatly missed......... with respect and admiration, Fred Cox.

I'm just seeing this Pam.
So sorry Frank passed. He helped me a lot in the early days. He had quite a dedication to this board, and to helping all the rest of us during our learning years. He was definitely the master guru of the VS-2480. He left us with a great body of work.

Hi Planeteers, been many years !.

Way back then when I got started on the VS2000, Frank actually mailed me something to help me along, not sure what it was, perhaps drivers, samples ?. NO CLUE.

I thank him so much and even tried to pay him for his actions, but he refused payment (WOW), what a human. I'm sorry if I inconvenienced any here, but I like to let you all know what he did for me. (FRANK YOU ARE MISSED BUD)
