I want to do a huge shout out to Bill Casey for developing VirDis for all of us... as VS users, we now have much better options than the old slow disc backups! I'm still using the VS 1680 and had been using VirDis version 3.5 very happily for a while. A few months back we licensed the latest update (I believe it is version 4.3) and although I am ham fisted with pretty much all things computer, with Bill's patient guidance we are now up and running with version 4.3...

For anybody new to the topic, VirDis allows you to backup your VS files from your VS IDE drive to your computer extremely easily. There is also a nifty WAV tool...

Some VirDis users report recording TO the VirDis HD straight away. For me, I like using the Roland IDE to record and backing up to VirDis...and then, I can send my VS files as WAV files anywhere.

Anyway, we are very fortunate in the VS community to have Bill doing development for our VS machines!

Awesome product, awesome support! Highly recommended if you are working in the VS format

Thanks Bill!
