Hi,

I've bricked my vs-840 during update from v1.01 to v1.05.

My plan is to try and recover with a vs-840 formatted 100MB ZIP disk and the v1.02 $SYSPRO2.VS1 file on it.
If anyone can sent me the disk image of a VS-840 formatted system disk (as I can't format myself anymore...), then I can "burn" this empty image on a ZIP disk and add the file, to hopefully recover the machine.

Makes sense? Who can help?

Thanks, Marco

Knowing the VS, I'm doubtful that you can burn a disc image that the VS will work with... but good luck to ya and hope it all goes as planned.

It was done in this thread, so I just need someone with a VS-840 and a zip drive in the PC :-)!

Anyone who can help? If you have a VS-840 and a PC or Mac with ZIP drive, I can guide you through.

Thanks, Marco
